Review of Antenatal screening

I had a good scan and the staff are wonderful, but I had to wait 2 hours extra for a blood test, when I had an appointment. Is not right

Suggested improvements
There should be appointments for the blood tests, it is not fair that I have to do air this long when I had an ultrasound appointment and they knew it was followed by a blood test.

Review of Outpatient Team 1

Having had an extremely bad experience in A&E Urgent Treatment two weeks ago (after 5 hours in Harold Wood Polyclinic I then spent 9 hours being shunted around in Queens A&E even though all xrays and notes had been sent and accepted), I was very pleased to find the treatment in the Fracture Clinic was totally different. At all times I was informed of what was happening and why. All staff were helpful and knowledgeable and the doctors explained everything very clearly. A much better experience!

Amazing midwife Charlotte & Gabriela (Student Midwife) - Thank you so much for your care & service you made this whole experience unforgettable. We have a beautiful baby boy who is just perfect, can’t thank you enough for your delivery!!!

Could have been made more aware of the induction process and how long it takes before labour, however it was a pleasure all in all !!

Review of Gynaecology Outpatients - Queen's Hospital

I was a little anxious before I entered the room. I was greeted by HCA Sophie who with a friendly smile asked me how I was. My consultant was Shachi Mishra who was so caring and explained everything and if the treatment was too painful she would stop and I could return another time. RN Lauren was equally friendly and professional. Whilst I was having the investigation Sophie was encouraging me, letting me know how well I was doing and all 3 ladies chatted with me about holidays, their interesting lives and asking about mine. They got me through quite an uncomfortable procedure in parts. I cannot say enough about how friendly and professional they all were, not only to me, but to each other

My whole experience was really good even though the wait wasn’t the best, I was there 10 hours in the emergency department, but despite that the staff were wonderful. I was so worried but a man called Vince was so helpful and really tried to calm me. All staff were very kind and helpful

It’s not the hospitals fault the waiting time so can’t see any way things could be improved
